Have you ever seen a heart
In such need of repair
Until only Jesus could fix it,
With his tender loving care?
Yes, I’ve seen it; it was mine
On a lonely destined road
That was filled with such sorrow
And no one to share the load.
Yes, I’ve seen a broken heart
Almost beyond life’s repair,
Until I met my dear Saviour,
There’s where I started my love affair,
An affair that had no end and on an upward road.
God finally took my old heart out
And gave me a blood transfusion too.
Now I have a Christ-like heart and I’m brand new.
